History Of The Suffolk Punch Horse

The Suffolk Punch horse was used in the country of Suffolk for agricultural work and as a draught horse. It was also used in pulling contests. All Suffolk Punch horses can be traced back to a single stallion named Crisp's Horse foaled in 1760. The British Suffolk Horse Society was formed in 1877 and today they are mainly used for show and pulling brewery drays.
