Calmers

We offer a range of calmers to help horses prone to nervousness and excitability or to help horses cope with stressful situations. Calmers can help make excitable and nervious horses more relaxed and manageable, and help horses to perform under pressure.  Horse calmers are a combination of minerals, vitamins and herbs to help maintain a healthy nervous system. Many horse calmers contain magnesium, a key mineral known for its calming properties and essential for the nervous system, to maintain a normal calcium:magnesium ratio as this is linked to the production of adrenalin. However magnesium based calmers do not work for all horses so we also offer non-magnesium based horse calmers within our range. Browse our range of horse calmers below.
