Covid-19 Update: Whilst we continue to operate as normal, due to curent high demand, there may be a slight delay with some orders.
Christmas Delivery: Orders should be placed by midnight Sunday 13th December 2020 for Christmas delivery.
Orders placed after midnight Sunday 13th December 2020 may not be dispatched until after 5th January 2021 due to prioritisation of orders placed before the Christmas deadline and our Christmas closure.
Christmas Closure: We are closed Saturday 19th December 2020 - Monday 4th January 2021 inclusive. Orders can continue to be placed during this time and will be processed after 5th January 2021.
Extended Returns Period For Christmas Orders: Orders placed 30th November to 31st December 2020 can be returned up until 15th January 2021. Please note we are closed Saturday 19th December 2020 - Monday 4th January 2021 inclusive so please avoid sending returns to arrive here during this period as if no one is here to receive your parcel then couriers/royal mail may return the parcel to you. For orders placed on 1st January 2021 onwards our normal 15 day returns period stated below applies.
Acceptance Of Order
By placing an order online you make an offer to purchase in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Acorn Internet Ltd will acknowledge receipt of your order both online and via an email order confirmation but this does not constitute our acceptance of your offer to purchase. Your offer has been accepted only when we have confirmed that your order has been dispatched.
Description Of Products
Acorn Internet Ltd take all reasonable care to ensure that details, descriptions and photographs of products within the store are accurate and up-to-date. However, from time to time errors may occur, alterations may be made to products by suppliers, colours within photographs may be affected by the settings of the computer on which it is viewed, etc. Therefore, we make no warranties, whether express or implied, in relation to the accuracy of details, descriptions and photographs of products within the store.
Pricing Of Products
Acorn Internet Ltd take all reasonable care to ensure that prices within the store are accurate. However, from time to time errors may occur and where such errors occur we reserve the right to withdraw the product from sale at the incorrect price and present it at the correct price. If you have placed an order at the incorrect price, we will inform you of the error and give you the opportunity to confirm your order at the correct price or cancel your order.
Availability Of Goods
Acorn Internet Ltd endeavour to keep the store up-to-date as and when products become out of stock although stock levels are constantly changing so all items are offered subject to availability.
Delivery is offered to the UK mainland (England, Scotland & Wales) only.
Standard delivery is usually made within 1-5 working days of your order being placed (delivery to Scotland may take 1-2 working days longer). However, there may be occasions where delays occur and Acorn Internet Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or consequence of non-delivery of any product(s) in your order howsoever caused. If you require a product urgently or by a specific date then please contact us to see if express delivery options are available before placing your order. Note: any additional charges for express delivery are non-refundable should the product be returned.
Small items may be dispatched by royal mail, however the majority of orders are dispatched by courier. When placing your order you can opt to have your order delivered to a different address (ie your work address, friend or relative) if it is unlikely someone will be home to receive your parcel. The majority of deliveries (excluding Scottish Highlands) are dispatched via DPD or DHL who allocate a 1 hour delivery slot with notification by text and/or email on the day of delivery and the ability to re-arrange your delivery or give instructions to leave with a neighbour or in a safe place if no one will be home to receive the parcel. Deliveries to Scottish Highlands are normally dispatched via Yodel's Collect+ service and we recommend adding instructions in the comments box at checkout if you wish the parcel to be left with a neighbour or left at a safe location at the property in the event that no one is home to receive the parcel. Occasionally other couriers may be used. Note: If you request your parcel is left in a safe location at a property without a signature this is entirely at your own risk and Acorn Internet Ltd and its couriers will not be liable for any parcel that goes missing after delivery is made where such instructions are given.
Shortages Or Damages In Delivery
If you believe that there are shortages in the number of products contained in a delivery or if any damage has occurred to the product(s) in transit you must contact us within 3 working days of receipt of the product(s).
Ownership Of The Goods
Ownership of the product(s) ordered shall be transferred to the customer once the product(s) have been delivered.
Cancellation Of Order
Acorn Internet Ltd reserve the right to cancel any order without giving reason whereupon you will be issued with a full refund of product and any delivery charge paid.
You have the right to cancel your order up to 15 days following receipt and inspection of the product(s) - see returns information below.
Acorn Internet Ltd offers 15 days approval on products purchased within which time you have the right to cancel your order following receipt and inspection of the product(s) (excluding underwear, products made to individual requirements and safety equipment eg riding hats, body protectors, etc). Products posted for return later than 15 days after receipt of your order will be rejected.
When inspecting and trying on a product(s) you should not remove any tags from the product, soil, use or damage the product and you should treat the manufacturer's product packaging/box carefully. You have a duty of care to return the item and its branded manufacturer's packaging in a good, re-saleable condition. Acorn Internet Ltd reserve the right to make a deduction from any refund amount or reject the return where any product is deemed to be soiled, damaged, used or not in a re-saleable condition. Items returned where the manufacturer's packaging is missing, soiled or defaced with writing, address labels, stamps, tape, etc will be rejected as the manufacturer's packaging is necessary for the product to be in a re-saleable condition.
If you wish to return any part of your order, include the packing slip or order confirmation email with the product and indicate on this whether the product is being returned for exchange or refund. The product, within its original manufacturer's packaging, should then be suitably wrapped to avoid damage to the product or the original manufacturer's product packaging/box during transit.
You shall be responsible for the costs of returning the product and it is recommended that you use a tracked delivery service such as Collect+ or MyHermes covered by adequate insurance based on the value of the product(s) returned as Acorn Internet Ltd will not be held liable for the loss of any products returned and not received.

Products posted for return later than 15 days after receipt of your order or where the manufacturer's packaging is missing, soiled or defaced with writing, address labels, stamps, tape, etc will be rejected.
Rejected returns will be held for a period of 7 days from the customer being notified of the rejected return within which time the customer should arrange for the item to be collected or make payment of a delivery charge for the item to be returned to them.
Products sold within our store are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee only. Such guarantees cover faults due to defective workmanship or materials, but do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect and lack of care, accidental damage or normal wear and tear. In the case of products believed to be faulty then please email us with a description and photo of the fault. Acorn Internet Ltd will then advise on the course of action to be taken.
If it is determined that the product should be returned to Acorn Internet Ltd or the manufacturer then in order to comply with Health & Safety regulations any alleged faulty product which has been used should cleaned before being returned to ensure it is free from mud, dirt, hair, etc. Returns that do not meet with these criteria will be rejected and you will be charged a delivery cost for the product be returned to you.
A repair, replacement or refund will only be offered if the manufacturer deems that the product is faulty and their decision is final. Acorn Internet Ltd cannot offer any repair, replacement or refund until the manufacturer has inspected and deemed that the product is faulty. If the manufacturer deems that there is no fault with the product and any damage is due to misuse, neglect and lack of care, accidental damage or normal wear and tear then the return of the product to you will be subject to a delivery cost.
Collection Of Personal Information
Acorn Internet Ltd will collect personal data (your name, address, email address and telephone number) when you make a purchase from our store in order to process your order, communicate with you about your order and to arrange delivery with a postal or courier service. Personal details will be passed to Paypal in order to process your payment during the checkout process. In some instances products may be dispatched directly from a third party supplier and where this occurs your details will be passed to that supplier for the purposes of delivering your order.
Card Payment Security
Payments are processed via Paypal. Order details are transferred to Paypal using SSL and card details are then entered directly on a secure page on Paypal's servers. Acorn Internet Ltd does not have access to and do not store card details.
Acorn Internet Ltd takes no responsibility for the misuse or quality of any product sold. In the event of injury or death caused queries should be directed to the manufacturer of the product.
Law & Jurisdiction
All goods are sold under English law and any disputes arising in connection with your purchase will be governed by English law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
