Horse First Heavy Sweat

Horse First Heavy Sweat supplies the electrolytes an active horse may lose in work and competition.  When horses sweat they lose many vital nutrients at an alarming rate and body salts are essential in an array of body processes such as the heart, kidneys and stomach. Electrolytes balance the body by helping to replace lost nutrients.

Use when your horse is in work and sweating heavily - be aware that some horses do not show visible signs of sweating but may still need electrolytes.

Mix in a damp feed, in a syringe or drinking water (always give a choice of drinking water one with and one without).

When feeding electrolytes ALWAYS have a fresh supply of drinking water and monitor the intake if possible.

No Fillers, Glucose, Bicarbonate or Lactate Pure Body Salts.

Key ingredients of Heavy Sweat: Chloride (37%), Sodium (27%), Potassium (13%), Magnesium < 1%).

Feeding Guidelines: Mix Heavy Sweat into a damp feed. Feed according to the degree of work, horses often lose more fluid than is obvious.  Add 50g scroop to feed daily after moderate work.  Add 2 x 50g scoops to feed daily after intense work.
