Equitheme Zebra Sweet Itch Rug

The Equitheme Zebra Sweet Itch Rug fully protects the horse from neck to tail. It is made from 100% soft and tightly weaved polyester that prevents small insects from getting through, whilst keeping the horse comfortable.

Dense and absorbing, the Equitheme Zebra Sweet Itch Rug vents the sweat and reduces the damaging effects of UV rays on sensitive skin. Close fitting to the body, the Zebra Sweet Itch Rug fully protects the horse from flies and midges.

The Equitheme Zebra Sweet Itch Rug is elasticated and adjustable so it fits perfectly to your horse's body, featuring adjustable elastic straps on the neck and around each rear leg with PVC clips. The belly is entirely covered with a wide removable belly girth which doubles the protection of the flanks and is clipped on the top of the back of the sweet itch rug.

The Equitheme Zebra Sweet Itch Rug is fitted over the horse's head, then pulled over the body. The position of the sweet itch rug is maintained with a velcro and clip anchoring system on the belly girth straps, interlocking with the rug.

This sweet itch rug is 30°C machine washable.  

The science behind the zebra print design is that horse flies find stripes confusing and steer clear of striped surfaces.
