The Rhinegold Torrent Lightweight Combo Turnout Rug features a 600 denier ripstop and waterproof breathable outer. It has no polyfill and has a breathable lining.

The Rhinegold Torrent Lightweight Combo Turnout Rug is perfect for showery warmer days or for hardy types who just need something light and features a fixed full neck cover with twin easy "click in" buckles, quick clip trigger hook chest straps, front shoulder gusset, cross-over surcingles, leg straps, no back seam, tailguard and strengthened surcingle guides.  The trigger clips on the chest should face inwards on the horse to avoid them getting caught.

The materials used are certified waterproof but please understand the expectations of a lightweight turnout rug as these must be realistic. Strong winds may gust up and under due to the lightweight nature of the rug blowing rain around the horse's back end. Heavy rain may also run down the horses' neck and penetrate under the rug slightly if left out in wet conditions. The material is waterproof but the rug is lightweight.
