The Riding World Zebra Sweet Itch Rug offers comprehensive insect protection for horses, covering them from neck to tail and fully protecting the horse from flies and midges. Its finely woven fabric prevents small insects from penetrating whilst keeping the horse comfortable.

Designed to fit snugly, the Zebra Sweet Itch Rug is elasticated and adjustable so it fits perfectly to your horse's body, featuring adjustable elastic straps at the top and base of the neck, and around each rear leg with PVC clips.  

A wide, removable belly girth covers the belly and clips over the back of the sweet itch rug.

The Riding World Zebra Sweet Itch Rug is fitted over the horse's head, then pulled over the body. The position of the sweet itch rug is maintained with a velcro and clip anchoring system between the front legs to the belly girth, and the belly girth interlocking with the rug over the back.  Additionally, this zebra sweet itch rug includes a large tail flap and is made from a material that wicks away sweat, keeping the horse comfortable.

The science behind the zebra print design of this sweet itch rug is that horse flies find stripes confusing and steer clear of striped surfaces.
